NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team remained undefeated after a 0-0 tie in double overtime with the visiting Grove City College Wolverines in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action Tuesday night.
Titan sophomore goalkeeper
Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park), the PAC Goalkeeper/Defensive Player of the Week, had a career-high 10 saves in a complete-match effort. One of Page's most notable saves came in the first overtime when Jordyn White of Grove City kicked the ball from 25 yards out to the top of the cross bar, but Page knocked the ball out with one glove.
Westminster (10-0-2, 3-0-1 PAC) had a chance to score in the second half with a cross in the box, however, was called offside.
Senior
Raechel Pusateri (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) led Westminster with five shots and three shots on goal, both of which were team-highs.
Grove City (7-5-2, 2-1-1 PAC) out-shot Westminster 23-14 and held a 6-1 corner kick-advantage.
The Titans will travel to nationally ranked Thomas More College on Saturday with a start time of 12 p.m.
