Women’s Basketball: Titans Fall at Nationally Ranked Thomas More, 110-38

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Westminster College women's basketball team lost, 110-38, to nationally ranked Thomas More College on the road Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action. The Saints remained undefeated with a 6-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the conference, while the Titans fell to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the PAC.

Thomas More's defense forced 36 Titan turnovers and didn't allow any Titan to score in double-digits. Thomas More's offense had six players in double-figures, led by Sydney Moss with 23 points.

The Saints out-shot the Titans 52.4% (43-82) to 29.3% (12-41) and out-rebounded Westminster 46-30.

Titan sophomore Rachel Durbin (Lowellville, OH / Lowellville) led the Titans with nine points. Senior Jenna Grandy (Sharpsville, PA / Sharpsville) and first-year Kristine Fromknecht (Erie, PA / McDowell) added six points each. First-year Paige Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) and senior Allison Borts (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) led Westminster on the glass with four rebounds apiece. Quinn also pocketed a team-high three steals.

Westminster will look to snap a five-game skid when it travels to Medaille College in Buffalo, New York for its make-up game on Monday, December 15. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
