BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - The Westminster College football team won, 38-3, at Geneva College in both teams' season finale on Saturday. The win marked the Titans' fourth of their last five games.
The Titans scored 10 points in the first quarter, seven in the second quarter, and 21 in the fourth quarter.
Titan freshman quarterback Paul Columbo (Boca Raton, FL / West Boca Raton Community) threw three touchdown passes, two of them to classmate Khurazze Williams (Lakeworth, FL / Santaluces Community), while completing 13 of 28 passes for 262 yards. Williams had three catches for 108 yards, his third 100-yard game of the season, and two scores (a 23-yarder and a 66-yarder). Westminster freshman Dominique McKinley (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg-Salem) caught Columbo's third touchdown pass, a 33-yarder late in the second quarter.
The Titan defense, who gave up the fewest points of the season, was led by senior Jared Heck (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) and sophomore Wayne Seamans (New Castle, PA / Union Area) who each had nine tackles each. Westminster forced five fumbles (and recovered three of them), led by freshman Todd Jeter (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) who had two.
Westminster sophomore kicker Justin Dahl (Cochranton, PA / Maplewood) added a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter. Dahl is now tied fourth in Titan history with most field goals in a season with eight.
Titan freshman quarterback Kimu Kim (Canfield, OH / Canfield) scored twice on the ground in the fourth quarter with rushes of 1 yard and 3 yards, respectively.
Geneva spoiled the shutout with a 39-yard field goal early in the second quarter.
Westminster out-gained Geneva in total yards, 434-302, including a 266-181 advantage through the air.
Westminster finished the season 4-6 overall and 4-4 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), its most conference wins since 2011. The Golden Tornadoes finished 3-7 overall and 2-6 in the conference.
