Men's Basketball: Ben Donlow Leads Westminster to PAC Win at Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG, Pa. - Sophomore guard Ben Donlow (Poland, Ohio/Poland Seminary) posted game highs of 29 points and 11 rebounds to help the Westminster College men's basketball team snap a four-game losing streak with a 74-71 win at Waynesburg Saturday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game.

Westminster is now 2-4 on the season and 1-1 in the PAC. Waynesburg drops to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in league play.

Donlow shot 12-18 from the floor and he posted a career high in points and he became the first Titan since Feb. 17, 2010 to score at least 29 points in a game.

Junior forward Adam Carswell (Painesville, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) scored 11 points and grabbed eight boards for the Titans.

Lou Galante came off the bench to lead Waynesburg with 17 points, including 5-10 shooting from 3-point range. Jacob Fleegle also scored 14 points for the Yellow Jackets.

The Titans led by 11 points with 8:47 remaining and held one-point margins on three occasions in the final two minutes.

Westminster hosts Thiel Wednesday at 8 p.m.
