Men's Soccer: Case Edges Westminster in Overtime

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team lost 2-1 in overtime on Saturday against visiting Case Western Reserve in non-conference action at Harold Burry Stadium.

The Titans fall to 5-3 on the season.

Sophomore Jake Huey (Butler, Pa./Butler) gave the Titans a 1-0 lead when he scored after a throw in during the second half.

Case Western Reserve (3-3-1) tied the game when Vinny Bell scored on an assist from Kyle Alsup. Brian Evans then scored the game-winner 6:18 into the first overtime.

Westminster junior goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) made 12 saves for the Titans, who were outshot 12-9.

The Titans return to action at home vs. Penn State Behrend on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
