NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team lost to Baldwin-Wallace, 3-1, at home on Tuesday in non-conference action.
The Titans fall to 4-3-1 on the season, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 5-3-1.
Sophomore midfielder Steve Armahizer (Butler, Pa./Butler) scored his first career goal with his 62nd-minute, game-tying tally on an assist from senior forward Andrew Saporito (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford).
Balwin-Wallace's Tyler Leister scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Mike McCue in the 85th minute before Michael Grater added an insurance goal in the 88th minute. The Yellow Jackets opened the scoring in the first half when Alex Restaino scored on a breakaway from Rob Young.
Saporito led the Titans by attempting four of the team's 12 shots. The Yellow Jackets attempted 18 shots in the direction of Titan freshman goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley), who made 14 saves (10 in the second half).
Westminster plays at Pitt-Johnstown on Thursday for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
