Men's Soccer: Titans Shut Out Bethany in PAC Action

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team shut out Bethany, 4-0, at home Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action.

The Titans improve to 2-0 in the PAC and 6-5-2 overall, while the Bison fall to 2-1-1 in the league and 5-5-2 overall.

Sophomore forward Ian Hill (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Catholic) figured in on the first two Titans goals and sophomore forward Brice Lott (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) netted the last two goals to lead the Titans.

Hill assisted on a Justin Flowers (Verona, Pa./St. Joseph) goal in the 30th minute to open the scoring before he scored his second career goal in the 39th minute. Lott scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season in the second half.

Freshman goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) made six saves for his second shutout of the season.

Westminster travels to Washington & Jefferson Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
