Men's Soccer: Horvath Nets Two as Titans Top Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team won at Grove City, 3-1, Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action. The Titans now have a record of 9-5-3 overall and 4-0-1 in the PAC, while the Wolverines fall to 4-8-4 and 2-2-1 in the league.

Senior midfielder Garrett Horvath (Southlake, Texas/Southlake Carroll) scored two goals in the 5th and 61st minutes, respectively, giving him a team-high 12 on the season.

Sophomore midfielder/defender Justin Flowers (Verona, Pa./St. Joseph) scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute for his second of the season after Grove City tied the game with a goal by Chad Ashby in the 38th minute.

The Titans out-shot the Wolverines, 22-13, while freshman goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) made six saves in net for the Titans.

Westminster wraps up its regular season Saturday when it hosts Thomas More at noon.
