Men's Soccer: Atwood Lone Goal-Scorer in Titans' 3-1 Loss at Oberlin

OBERLIN, Ohio - The Westminster College men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss at Oberlin on Saturday in non-conference action.

The Titans (4-3-2) opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when senior midfielder Todd Atwood (Colleyville, Texas/Colleyville Heritage) found the back of the net with an unassisted goal.

Oberlin scored two goals before halftime and one in the 61st minute of the second half to secure the win. Sam Zackheim scored the game-tying goal in the 30th minute before Tettah Morton netted the game-winner off Michael Mullaley's corner kick in the 42nd minute.

Titan junior goalkeeper Anthony Beilstein (Butler, Pa./Knoch) gave up the three goals while making five saves. Clayton Combe made two saves to earn the win for Oberlin.

The Titans return to action with a PAC game at Waynesburg on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m.
