Men's Soccer: Blake Ordell Scores Game-Winner in Titans' First Shutout of the Season

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team edged visiting Saint Vincent College on Tuesday night, 1-0, thanks to a goal from senior reserve forward Blake Ordell (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser) in the 44th minute.

Ordell was able to score his third goal of the season just before halftime on assists from junior forward Andrew Saporito (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) and sophomore defender Steve Hogya (Finleyville, Pa./Ringgold).

Junior goalkeeper Anthony Beilstein (Butler, Pa./Knoch) was able to register his first shutout of the season by gloving two saves. Beilstein faced five shots as the Titans out-shot the Bearcats, 18-5.

The Titans improve to 3-2-2 on the season and return to action at John Carroll on Friday at 7 p.m.
