Pat Smith ’07 was four-year letterman in Swimming and Diving and a two-time Team Captain during his junior and senior seasons. Smith earned NCAA Division III All-America honors in the 400-medley relay and Honorable Mention All-America recognition in the 200-medley relay during his career. Smith’s conference accolades include earning All-PAC First Team four times, being one of only four male Westminster swimmers in the programs history to win the same event at a conference championship meet four years in a row (200 backstroke), and winning the PAC Championship in the 100 backstroke twice. Smith also set one individual and was part of two relay-event school records, in addition to a PAC individual event record. Smith was a CSCAA Academic All-American as a senior and earned PAC Academic Honor Roll accolades two times. Smith’s teams compiled a record of 33-7-1 in dual meets with three PAC Championships. Smith was also named to 60th Anniversary All-PAC Swimming & Diving Team. Smith was a part of the last time that both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams won at the PAC Championships in 2007.
During his time at Westminster, Smith was a member of Student Government Association, a SAAC representative for four years and SAAC president for two years.
Smith has three kids (Mia, Emma and Owen) with his wife, Brittany.
