Westminster College Athletics

Westminster, under third-year Head Coach Pat Smith '07, claimed the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship with 906 points on Saturday. The PAC title was the Titan women's fifth overall and first since 2007. Westminster trailed Grove City, winners of 10-straight PAC titles, by 46 points heading in Saturday's evening session. The Titans registered a pair of individual championships Saturday night to secure the PAC title. On Saturday, Westminster senior Carolyn Novak won the 100 freestyle (53.46), while junior Maggie Manolis won the 200 breaststroke (2:26.35). Smith was named the PAC Women's Coach of the Year, his first Women's Coach of the Year honor (second overall). Fifth-year Diving Coach Heath Calhoun was named the PAC Men's and Women's Diving Coach of the Year for the second-straight year.
